A Little Bit About Me...

Although a senior about 20 credits from my BS, I know I am qualified for this job. My passion for Chemistry rubs off on those around me. With a near 4.0 GPA, I always earn the top score in my class, only once did I get less than perfect on a Science test, a 99%. Students began asking for help. From my first Science course, I helped many students drastically improve their grades. Professors gave my name out to students and I have taught many each term. When my Prof. was going to miss class she asked me to teach instead. My lab reports were always perfect; the Prof. copied them for future classes. I earned the only student research grant. I have graduated with dual B.S. degrees in Education and Political Science in 1972 in Odessa, Ukraine. My teaching experience includes 28 years of teaching chemistry, physics, Russian and Ukrainian languages in my native country of Ukraine. During these years I’ve taught many students varying in age from 13 to 18 years old. I’ve taught classes of Continuing Education for certified teachers in Ukraine. A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated from MSU in 2001 with a degree in Int'l Relations and Business. In 2007 I returned to school. During that time I took all the pre-reqs for the Accelerated Nursing program, earning a 4.0 in each. The classes included psych, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, bio and chem. I have been tutoring professionally for about 2 years now, but before that I worked with a lot of my friends and family. I struggled with ADD/ADHD while in school, and had to teach myself the skills to become a good student. Those skills include time mgmt, organization, prioritizing, etc. Over the last 2 years, I have worked with students of all ages. Subjects include Algebra, Geometry, ACT test prep, Chem, Psych, etc.
