Math and Business Tutor

I have completed all College level Math classes for an Electical Engineering degree. Math is my area of expertise. My experience includes 25 years of real world experience in the engineering and business fields which when balanced with my book based knowledge has allowed me to improve the tutoring experience by providing concrete, real world examples within several study areas.

I have taken numerous classes in mathematics which include Single Variable Calculus, Multi-Variable Calculus, Differential Equations, Complex Variables, Real Analysis, Linear Algebra, Probability, and Random Processes. In addition, the focus of my graduate coursework was in the areas of signal processing and communications which use the theory from these math courses. I implemented and maintained custom code for a number of clients, and I performd lead programmer functions and mentor others. Every few months I conducted "lunch and learns" for programmers and analysts. During these sessions I would describe what code was doing in a particular module. This would help them with their implementations.
I like to first show a basic example of the problem, then show how the problem can be solved. I will then show another example that is a little more involved. After this, I let the person being mentored try solving a similar problem.

At a major university, biology and engineering students, let alone chemist need to take general and organic chemistry. So it is required to tailor how I tutor to what they needed. In some case it was a guide through problems because they knew the basic information and could not correlate from one step to the next.
