I enjoy teaching at a high school level or above. I am very hands on. I am a bit of a story teller - rearranging the circumstances of the problem into an issue more easily related to by the student. I am very patient and relaxed - there are very few people who have a lower stress level than I do.
At MSU, I first worked as a Supplemental Instructor and then became a Graduate Assistant (before I even earned my Bachelor's degree) in the School of Business. I also worked in the math department as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant. I have taught business, accounting and math classes at the college level when instructor was absent. Accounting is by far my strong suit, followed by Excel, Economics and Math, however I do not use high-level math often, although I got A's in everything throughout college.

A Little Bit About Me...

I recently received my Business degree from Ohio University. This degree enabled me to learn a wide variety of skills relevant to a number of industries today. I enhanced my grammatical skills due to the various projects and papers I had to complete while working towards my degree. Due to my enrollment in Post Secondary at Kent State University, I was able to graduate in three years. I have always had a talent for understanding that not everyone "gets it the first time." I had much trouble with science myself.
