Psychology is one of my top subjects! I received my BA in Psychology with honors in 2010. I am a member of Psi Chi, The International Psychology Honor society. My primary focus within the field resides around biological based courses such as Abnormal Psychology, Psychopharmacology, and Child Psychology. If I am tutoring a young person I contact the teacher so that I can find out what areas the student needs review in. Many times the teacher will give me the resources and materials to use. Also, I like to use the guide books for each grade that are sold in stationary areas of most stores. For tutoring in reading I've found the Leapfrog Reading Program is very helpful. I like to meet my students at the library so that I can use the resources found in the library, including the computer. Many times I use educational games because are very useful tools in learning, and they are fun.
