I love working with children. I've taught acting at the Durham Arts Council for three years. The duties from that position included directing students in performances which I helped them create. The plays were written around themes chosen by the camp director. So, in essence, the children and I would research those themes and develop stories which I would then turn into plays using my expertise. I recently graduated from Purdue University with my BS in math and math education. While studying at Purdue, I was able to teach math at a college level, as well as tutor students of various strengths. A Little Bit About Me...

My favorite experience with tutoring was teaching algebra to 8th graders. I tried to take them through basic examples that thoroughly teach the overarching concept and then have them take that concept and apply it to examples with added functionality. I have found this works best because it pushes the kids to really learn the concepts.
I will graduate from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Engineering Business. I have taken very high levels of mathematics, including Single and Multivariable Calculus, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, and Probability.
