I volunteered my services when a few friends asked me if I could help them with their essays. I just basically edited their essays and told them a few things on how they could do better. I even helped someone with a resume that they were sending around to a few jobs. My friends thank me for all that I did to help them and they would usually help me in subjects that I was falling behind in, like Math for example. I loved helping them learn with subjects they have a hard time with and I loved learning with them. A Little Bit About Me...

I was never amazing in school, but I recently got my GED and passed with amazing scores!!! I'm phenomenal at English, spelling, writing and anything in that category!! I quite enjoy science. I was never too good at math, but I like it for the most part and I can do the basics. History and social studies, I'm not too bad at. They are definitely not a strong subject of mine though. I am a retired FBI Agent, with both a Bachelor of Science and a Juris Doctorate. As an Agent, I learned to speak fluent Russian and speak it to this day. Since retirement six years ago I have been tutoring and coaching my son, who is handicapped. He is highly intelligent but learns a little bit differently, so I have worked hard with him to teach him to read, learn math and grammar. He cannot write, so everything he learns is by memory. He is an excellent student and works hard. My work in the FBI has given me excellent writing skills, my grammar is next to perfect, and I read several books a week. I worked with Special Ed kids with reading, writing, and math. I tutored my Sophomore, Junior, and Senior years of high school. I have most of my certifications in the medical field, but i also graduated High school a semester early and with enough credits to be a sophomore in college. I do prefer to work with elementary school kids, but would also work with middle school as well. I have been raised to know education is the most important thing in ones life. Young Intermediate School ages 6th and 7th grade. I have had the privilege of spending many hours with struggling readers helping to build their reading levels and comprehension skills.
