I am a 2006 honors graduate of Kent State University's Early Childhood Education, earning both an AS and BS and am currently working on a MS in Special Education. I entered the educational field as a career after finding a natural ability to meet the needs of learners with unique challenges through a mentor/tutor program at a local elementary school. I had been a teacher for 12 years engaging in a multitude of learning styles and methodology. I spent 6 years serving as principal at all levels. I was Director of Education for two years and then served as Superintendent of Schools for two districts for a total of 15 years. During that time I never lost connection with teaching, mentoring students from all levels of education and continued to teach in the classroom at least once a week.
