A Little Bit About Me...

I had been a teacher for 12 years engaging in a multitude of learning styles and methodology. I spent 6 years serving as principal at all levels. I was Director of Education for two years and then served as Superintendent of Schools for two districts for a total of 15 years. During that time I never lost connection with teaching, mentoring students from all levels of education and continued to teach in the classroom at least once a week. I was an adjunct professor for two years at Waynesburg University in Pennsylvania. I retired in 2009 to travel and photograph the country, while living in and RV. I miss teaching and have sought a position with your entity hoping to tutor while traveling America.

I also had the opportunity to work in industry for 2 years, so I got the experience of that to bring back into the classroom.

If one word could describe my teaching style it would be the word flexible. Each student is unique and different and needs to be taught in a way appropriate for him or her.
