Looking for fun studying?! I'm only one call away! :)

I have worked with many young students. Reading, math, spelling... I find helping students very fun. Not only does it benefit them but me as well. I earned a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Plymouth State in New Hampshire in 1975. I have 16 years teaching experience at the elementary level teaching 5 years of 2nd grade, 8 years of 4th grade, 1 year of 5th grade, 1 year of 1st grade, and 1 year of 5/6 Language Arts and Science Resource teacher experience. I also taught 1 year at the Junior High level teaching 8th grade Pre-Algebra.
I love teaching because of the difference it makes in a child's life. I am easy to get along with and have a great sense of humor. I will apply all learning styles possible in given circumstances to ensure success and the sense of accomplishment. I am very dedicated to other interests and activities in students lives. Given the proper learning environment, structure, boundaries, tools, guidance, and willingness to learn I believe every child is capable of learning.

I am a graduate of a Christian University, and I have recently completed my certification training for me to be an elementary or Middle school teacher this fall. I have tutored elementary students prior in reading, phonics, and math. I have been a youth and children's pastor for five years, while also substitute teaching.
