I am a strong believer in Humanistic learning. The teacher begins with the student's prior knowledge and likes and moves forward from there relating it not only to the study of the subject, but also to how the subject will be applied in real world situations. I have been working with students in a reading program at a Title I school for 2 years; working with second language students teaching them the English language.
