I have history tutoring microbiology, physiology, and anatomy while earning my undergraduate degree. I tutored through the Wintrode Tutoring Center on the SDSU campus and was an intern for the anatomy and microbiology lab classes. Upon graduation I applied and was accepted into the University of South Dakota's Sanford School of Medicine. I went for one year, maintaining a 4.0 GPA, and have now decided to pursue a different passion in life besides medicine as I voluntarily withdrew in July of 2015. Especially in the chemistries, there are many different ways to think of a problem and apply the best possible angle for the student's learning style. I try to present a concept or fact in several different ways so that I can resonate with the students thinking style. I have been told that I am a very good communicator and educator and can make concepts that seem complicated look much simpler and more comprehendible.
