Experience Summary
I have history tutoring microbiology, physiology, and anatomy while earning my undergraduate degree. I tutored through the Wintrode Tutoring Center on the SDSU campus and was an intern for the anatomy and microbiology lab classes. Upon graduation I applied and was accepted into the University of South Dakota's Sanford School of Medicine. I went for one year, maintaining a 4.0 GPA, and have now decided to pursue a different passion in life besides medicine as I voluntarily withdrew in July of 2015. My teaching philosophy is to find as many ways to come after a problem as possible. Especially in the chemistries, there are many different ways to think of a problem and apply the best possible angle for the student's learning style. As for some of the other sciences, I will use the many mnemonic devices, note card training tricks, and other tricks of the trade that I applied while an undergraduate student / medical student. Currently, I tutor CHEM106, CHEM108, and CHEM112 at the University Center on Tuesday and Thursday nights in Sioux Falls.
