A Little Bit About Me...

I am a retired trial lawyer from the State of Maryland. My career as a trial lawyer spanned 26 years and included hundreds of jury and non-jury trials in State and Federal Courts.I am still a member of the Washington D.C. Bar.My writing experience includes hundreds of motions and dozens of briefs.I have taught some college level courses in the Criminal Justice area. I taught ESL in South Korea for two months. I have taught Reading and Essay writing for a year. I also teach ACT Test preparation for these subjects At present I am tutoring several students.
I enjoy teaching and working with all children. I believe that virtually all children can learn with the proper motivation and encouragement. A Little Bit About Me...

As the daughter of an English teacher, I grew up accustomed to correct grammar and word usage, and to correction of my errors! I didn't always appreciate learning the correct use of English, but have since learned how valuable it is. Without the ability to speak and write correctly, individuals are limited in their ability to express their ideas and present themselves. I have taught public presentation and writing for years.
