Humanities teacher/tutor
My expertise is in humanities. I combine original writings from ancient (Plato, Aristotle, Sophocles, etc.) and more modern (Shakespeare, Dostoyevsky, Tolstoy, etc.) authors who have shaped our world. By utilizing the Socratic method, I promote critical thinking and engage the student in discussion. My ultimate goal is to help the student not only learn and master the subject, but also to inspire a love of learning and further desire to explore.
As a substitute teacher for social studies and English literature, in both honors and regular classes, I facilitated learning by following the lesson plans.
