During my tenure at Buffalo State College, I volunteered at the Equal Opportunity Program, where my main strength was utilized by actively tutoring students in the art of the english essay. I was able to tutor these students and advise them in the general format of the essay. We began by procurring a general introduction, or a statement of fact,followed by the body of the essay, descriptive references, and tying it all together with a summary that proves the point that you have set out to make. I have an Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor degree in Mathematics Education. I was a math tutor and math teaching assistant at Daemen College. I completed two student teaching placements in mathematics classrooms during my education. I also completed a volunteer experience at Seneca Babcock Preschool where I aided the teacher in helping the children learn colors and numbers. When I was a senior in high school, I taught Spanish to 2nd graders for a semester long project. Teaching is such a rewarding experience.
