A Little Bit About Me...

I will work with the children to fit their needs in the subject. My teaching style usually blends in with the child's learning ability.
English and elementary skills are my best field. I had a college level english when I was in 8th grade. Math is an okay subject for elementary but I'm not the best at algrebra or higher. My spelling skills and writing skills are excellent. Like I have said before my total english level was a college level when I was in 8th grade. Fun and intense. I refuse to be drab or boring. Associate learning with life, colors, songs, music, memories, movies and media. Pete and Repeat were sitting on a fence. Pete fell off. Who was left? High school was a blast, and I loved every moment!! I was the history buff, drama geek, grammar police and still am to this day. A Little Bit About Me...

First and foremost, I understand that no two children learn the same. I believe many children struggle in a learning environment simply because they are not comfortable with it. I excel at personal communication, and make it my first goal to find out how the student is going to learn the best. Whether it requires dancing, music, pictures, whatever it takes, once a student is comfortable they are far more likely to absorb information. This holds true for any age.
