I have the experience of substitute teaching, mentor St. Louis and tutoring in a nativity school. I am very patient with each student I meet and help them reach their goals. My expertise is in the area of early elementary education where their learning styles are being developed. I want to assist the students in learning so they do not fall through the cracks of of our school system. I will not put pressure on my students as I am there to help them be the best they can be. My comments on tutoring Study Skills : Having been immersed in a rigorous college program for the past three years, I have learned to study well in all subjects.

I was homeschooled at a higher academic standard than public schools. As a current senior at Pensacola Christian College, I have recieved a steller education in English, as well as Bible and Biblical Greek. The usefullness of understanding Biblical Greek and being able to study the Bible in its original languages cannot be overemphasized. This is where I would like to spend my tutoring time, although I will be willing to help in basic English, Writing, or Reading.
The most effective teaching takes place whent he teacher presents the information clearly and then gives the student ample opportunity to put it into practice, with the teacher watching and assisting.

Finding learning solutions one learner at a time!

I believe each student has an optimum learning style and I try to match my teaching strategies to that style. When working with adults, I try to establish motivations for learning first and then move on to the next step - how best to master the infomration or skill.
I have 25 plus years experience in teaching children and adults. I am currently working on my PhD in education with an emphasis on curriculum and instruction.
