I think that children are the most vital asset to our society. We must pass on all the knowledge that we possibly can, and I have decided to dedicate my life to this endeavor. I have recently completed student teaching and have earned my teaching certificate as an art specialist. I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of students at different levels with varying abilities. I have had internships at the high school and elementary levels, with time spent both in the art classroom as well as the special education classroom. As a substitute teacher, I learned to manage an array of classrooms and assumed all duties of a regular classroom teacher. While working for a day camp, I organized and led activities for diverse students ranging from age five to fifteen. All experiences have made me knowledgeable and sensitive to the diverse cultural, social and learning needs of school-age children.
