I have worked in the Educational system for approximately 20 years in Florida. I have studied the language since I was 15. Community work has been a huge part of my love for the Language. I was taught ASL by a Deaf individual and still interpret for him today. I have had many experiences in the deaf community and the Educational system allowing my skills to be challenged and used in a successful manner. I entered college in my late twenties and have been involved in some aspect of learning ever since. I was able to complete my BA in Psychology and Religion as Cum Laude and my MA in Counseling Psychology with a similar GPA. Since graduating I have had the opportunity to work with children and adolescents in a counseling capacity which often mirrors mentoring, teaching and leading. I obviously have experience in psychology and religion. As well, I have extensive experience in writing for my career, assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, etc, and in school with the many research papers, summaries, reviews, etc. This has allowed me to hone my grammatical skills, comprehension and analytical skills.
