I am a doer who has shared his knowledge and experience in a variety of ways. When I worked as a photographer and filmmaker, I taught those subjects at many different institutions, from an after-school program for elementary school kids to NYU Graduate School. For many years now, I have worked as a science writer and editor. I mentor many newly minted Chinese scientists and engineers who work for IBM in Beijing, teaching them both English grammar and the proper form and style for peer-reviewed scientific papers they are writing. i have my bachelor's degree in mathematics. I also have experience tutoring people who want to get their GED and high school students. I have always loved math, back to elementary school, and I have always done well at it. When I was a Junior high school student, I started an advanced program in mathematics from columbia university.
