I began my teaching career in Cooperstown, NY in 2001, as a mid-career professional in search of a meaningful job. Previously, I worked in the entertainment industry. Seeking to make a difference in the lives of our children, I moved to Los Angeles to teach English to the children of Latino immigrants. It was the highlight of my teaching profession. Based on the liberal arts education that I received, I am fully capable of teaching a number of subjects including Spanish, History, and English. My educational career was full of challenges that have given me a broad basis of knowledge for tutoring. In high school, I earned the International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma.
