My comments on tutoring Logic : My specialty is in formal logic.

I have five years' experience as a writing tutor at my university, during which I wrote and presented papers at multiple regional conferences for university writing tutors. I rose to become one of the most respected and requested tutors out of my peers. I many credit hours of pedagogy and teaching methodology classes, both for Teaching ESL and Latin, and a semester of student teaching under my belt.
I employ the Socratic method of asking lots and lots of questions. I see a tutorial as not a time for a student to soak up information, but to engage the mind and use the tools he has already been given. Of course, if a student truly doesn't know something crucial, I will tell him. I always try to make my instruction at least a little bit funny, and to connect the material to the student's interests, because these factors are known to enhance learning.

I graduated my MS in Physics from The University of Akron. While doing my MS degree I was a part time teaching assistant. I taught labs for undergraduate students. I completed my M.Sc. in physics back in Nepal in 2003. After completing M.Sc. I taught unergraduate level physics for 4 years.
