I recently graduated with a Master’s degree in Anatomy. I had the pleasure of being a Teaching Assistant for 150 first year medical students at Penn State College of Medicine. I led the students through the cadaver laboratory portion of the Gross Anatomy course. I asked them specific questions related to anatomical structures, their possible clinical significances and clarified questions related to both lecture and laboratory material. My journey through the undergraduate sciences has given me the skills needed to be an effective tutor.
