I am a very strong believer of hands-on learning. I do reference textbooks as well, but the majority of my lessons involve labs, projects, and hands on experiences. My lessons are always references to real life situations and students understand how the daily lesson applies to their own lives. I enjoy teaching students and seeing the "light go on" when suddenly the understand a concept that was at one time very obscure to them. As a continuing education graduate in Spanish, Dance and Human Resource Development I have received education in teaching methods as well as on hand experience. I taught dance for three years to ages 6-18, taught biblical studies and music to ages 3-13 for 1 year and volunteered through my social organization as a tutor in an underpriviledged community school for 1 year. I have experience in tutoring math, spanish, english and computers.
