My comments on tutoring Science : I am a highly certified teacher (with over 20 years experience) and have worked as a tutor for 15 years. I'm able to tutor all elementary and middle grade level subjects. As well, I also tutor Algebra, general science, earth science, life science, biology, and chemistry at the high school level. My philosophy is to facilitate student learning by using a progressive questioning method where the student explains what he does know and then building from there, each time questioning for comprehension. Some children are more visual and may require more interactive exercises to learn.
