I graduated from Washington High in 2006 with my High School Diploma. From there I went to Worwic Community College part time while working full time to pursue an Associates of the Arts in General Studies. This degree was completed in 2010. I work well with students of all ages. My current position is as a Museum Consultant. My last employment was Executive Director at a dynamic regional museum specializing in local culture including heritage and arts, where institutional growth and community involvement were priorities. I was responsible for all aspects of museum function including museum planning; budget development; administration and management; educational programming; exhibit development; publications; hiring, training and management of museum staff; fundraising management; grants procurement and administration; overseeing the collections management program; and implementation of Board approved plans and budget. I have played Trumpet for 9 years, Clarinet for 3, and have taken numerous college methods courses that teach me how to play and teach many other instruments. I am a music education major at Towson University, but I live near Salisbury, MD, and love to help and tutor children in this field during the summer. I do not yet have a degree, but am looking for paid teaching experience to put on my resume.
