My comments on tutoring Geometry : I was a math major at Cornell and have tutored geometry for five years.
I have logged over 5,000 hours of tutoring in the last four years. I have worked for a game company, which taught me how to approach tests as a contest between student and test-maker, and my extensive background as a writer gives me practical experience when it comes to teaching English and related subjects. My competence in math has always been obvious, as my 796 score (maximum 800) on the math SAT will attest. But most important: I love to teach any child or adult who wants to learn.
I am patient and supportive, but persistent. Each student's mind works differently, and I work tirelessly to find the best way to present material to every child or adult.
