My interest in becoming a tutor stems from my life long passion for teaching and learning. A Little Bit About Me...

I recently graduated from the University of Colorado with a bachelor's degree in architecture which allowed me to be very understanding of math and science while also gaining a strong inclination to creativity. I taught swimming lessons and tennis lessons to children for five years and I previously worked at a summer day camp for kids ages 3-13. I am CPR and Red Cross certified, and I have a great passion for working with children. I took advanced placement English and math classes in high school and in college I used my electives towards classes such as creative writing, economics, psychology, and education classes. A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated from the University of Nevada Las Vegas in 2007 with a BA in communication studies. The curriculum at UNLV has given me a solid foundation in both my written and verbal communication skills. I also completed the gerontology program as well in 2007. I have been involved with senior theater programs, and I am currently mentoring for a non-profit organization. The program is for senior men who are 55 years of age, and are trying to obtain a GED and re-enter the workforce. I also have two young children that are currently in 2nd. and 3rd. grade. I tutor them on a daily basis as well.
