I have over 15 semesters of college courses most in the sciences. I find math and science to come easy to me if I am taught it in the right way and I would love to share that with struggling students out there. I have had experience in big and small schools, accelerated programs as well as normal classrooms so I have been exposed to a variety of learning environments. I love to teach and coach and think it is important to understand that everyone learns and grasps concepts in different ways. I do not have a specific teaching style other than positive because each child requires their own approach.

At Amherst College, we were encouraged to pursue a wide variety of subjects in addition to our major. I studied math for several years, some Biology, Latin and Greek. I had a semester of graduate school at Iowa in Classics. At Tulane, I studied advanced statistics as well as marketing. I had two years of Spanish at DMACC. I also studied Bosnian and German at DMPS Continuing Education. For all standardized tests, I always scored in the top 1% including the PSAT, SAT, ACT and GMAT.
