Conversational, videos, books, immersion with deaf people I have a love for the deaf community and went to school to be an interpreter for them. Sign language became part of my life at a young age when I met a deaf man in the church I attended at the time and asked him for candy. From there on out my heart/passion for deaf people in the US and over seas has grown. I love being able to help people know the basics and conversationally sign with those who are hard of hearing or deaf. To be able to bridge a gap in America because of a language barrier is a really cool feeling.
