I believe in using a sense of humor to help develop a positive rapport with the students. I spent a lot of time developing vocabulary and using phonics to help the students build fluency in reading.
I taught in the Cloverleaf Schoolistrict for 9 years. I spent the first 3 years teaching as a building sub in grades 1-6. I spent 6 years in first grade teaching all areas including math, science, reading, phonics, and vocabulary.
