A Little Bit About Me...

I am a graduate of Western Carolina University, where I received my Bachelor of Science in Education for the field of instrumental music. I have experience with teaching at two middle schools and one high school as a part of my student teaching assignment. Also, I have 5 years experience teaching marching band at several high schools as an adjunct staff member teaching music and marching fundamentals. I also have acquired a great deal of experience in general English, grammar, and writing through my advance placement courses in high school, as well as the research papers and reports required for my music history, as well as my education courses. I feel very strongly about a differential approach to my teaching methods. I believe every child is different and learns differently then the next child. I feel confident in developing a lesson plan that can be diverse enough to meet each and every child’s gifts and disadvantages.
