I believe that the basis of learning is understanding the principles of the subject. If a student has a thorough knowledge of the basics, then he does not need to rely on root memorization or luck to pass classes. I believe teaching and learning the basics are far easier than simply attempting to pass a test or earn a decent grade. All subjects in the end build upon each other, a strong foundation helps not only with the current class, but with all future classes as well. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been a serious student of math and physics now for the past three and a half years. I am in my senior year at the University of Utah (U) where I am finishing up degrees in mathematics and physics.
