If I notice the student is having trouble answering the questions then I use a different teaching approach. I try to relate the questions to something the person has experienced in his/her culture.

After graduation with my BSEE, I have been trying out employment in the Engineering field. My math and physics skills have become the front-runners in my tutoring career. A Little Bit About Me...

First of all, I try to create calm and stress less teaching environment. We do a lot of talking and laughing about life, students interest etc. just to get my tutee in a relaxed mood. I’m constantly reviewing old, present and new concepts. I have my students to teach me the math concept that we’re working with in order to build their understanding and confidence. I feel that teaching math for an 1 hour and half is adequate enough. I always assign homework for review purposes.
