First off I approach learning with a degree of understanding for the student, I have found not all students learn at the same pace and have the same strengths and weakness. I am a graduate of Tennessee Temple University, with experience tutoring at Tennessee Temple University, as well as University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, in various topics, including biodiversity, mathematics (up to pre-calculus), history, and American Sign Language. Also, working with at risk students, who have experienced failure in traditonal school settings, an educator must work on the negative beliefs of the student, including that the student sees themselves as "dumb" and " not able to learn."
