Learning can be fun!!

I love learning and teaching alike. My first teaching experience was in high school when I helped teach inner city children how to swim. Following high school, I earned a bachelor's degree in genetics at UC Berkeley, during which time I worked as a teacher's assistant for a genetics professor. While in medical school in Hungary, I tutored Hungarians in English, and medical students in anatomy, physiology, biochemistry and biophysics. I completed internship and residency in Internal Medicine in the United States. As a senior resident I was responsible for teaching and supervising junior residents and interns. A Little Bit About Me...

I was a dedicated student throughout high school and college. I earned my Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University. I know work as a systems engineer performing mission analysis on guidance, navigation, and control aspects of rocket systems. I also mentor a FIRST robotics high school team. I believe it takes a great deal of patience to tutor math. It is a very difficult subject to grasp and not everyone understands it identically. I use a variety of methods like asking open ending questions to start a conversation, drawing graphs so visual learners can see the concepts, and giving examples for comprehension.
