Started learning CAD since high school. This involved starting from the basics of paper, pencil, and drafting tools for techniques. Conceptual hands on to be associated when moving into Computer Aided Drafting. Afterwards decided to complete certification in CAD and combine it with my Associate's in Mechanical Engineering Degree. Lets not forget that right after high school with the basics I was able to land a job through a internship and use the applied knowledge of CAD.

Math is one of my top subjects! I homeschool my 15 and 12 year old children with Math being an absolute subject that I teach. I am very proficient in math holding an Associates of Science Degree in Accounting and also taking Algebra II and Pre- calculus in high school.

I just graduated in March with an Associates of Science Degree in Accounting. I also have been homeschooling my 15 and 12 year old for the last four years. This last year I taught my son Pre-Algebra where he learned a lot and passed my course with an A. I always had a strong hold for math and in high school I completed and passed Algebra II and Pre-Calculus. Before home schooling I worked as a financial secretary while dealing with numbers and math all day long.
I love to teach math and seeing that expression on a child's face the moment they understand what I just taught them. I like to really try and explain math taking my time so the child learns it the first time and then I like to give them examples and watch how they work the problem to make sure they are comprehending everything.

My comments on tutoring Math : I am an analytical person so that helps me with math.

I let students asks all the questions they want if for some reason I don't have the answer I will look it up.
I started working as a computer programmer. Then I became a computer operator/programmer using a main frame computer. My comments on tutoring Math : I like to teach Math in creative, out of the box, methods in order to keep the interest of the child.

Creative but structured to each child's needs.
I received my degree in Early Childhood Development & Child Psychology in 1999. I tutored children from homeless shelters for 2 years. As I began helping & teaching my two daughters in every subject, and saw how well they were doing, I realized I could help so many other children. I then began teaching, tutoring & learning from pre-kinder to high school classes/students from that point to present. As for my daughters, one is a pre-med student in college & the other attends a health magnet.
