A Little Bit About Me...

I am the member of MTAC and prepare students for the California Certificate of Merit. My teaching philosophy is based in the belief that learning music should be fun and exciting! I always encourage my students to pursue the kind of music that they find most appealing, rather than using the same curriculum and method book. I go to my students In all over Orange county , but in Huntington beach or Anaheim will be only on weekends. Thank you
I teach private lessons and have had the experience of working with hundreds of students ranging from beginners with no experience to advanced players. Fun and patient piano teacher with more than 21 years of experience. I have studied, performed and taught music over 18 years. I like to focus on music theory and reading skills, in addition to developing musicality from the first lesson.

Need Piano Lessons?

My teaching style is not entirely concrete, for I feel that it depends on the maturity of the student and willingness to learn the subject at hand. I am very patient when I need to be, and my main goal is to simply make sure each student walks away knowing what they needed to learn.
I am a 19 year old college student who is living in Murrieta for the next few summer months, and attends Cal State Fullerton. I have taken piano lessons for over 11 years now, and have a few years experience in teaching/tutoring in piano. My major concentration in college is Studio Art, and have also had experience in teaching art classes through M.A.D. Studio. Through experience in college and high school, I am also very familiar with Microsoft Office programs, and have helped those who are struggling in the newer editions of these MS programs.

I believe that all learners are capable of high achievement if they receive appropriate support, and with a recent Master's Degree in Education, I am well-versed in current best practices. I have a student-centered approach that involves assessing student needs, interests, and learning style and developing learning activities and approaches to assigned material based on this information. I believe that learning should be fun and lifelong learners are made when students enjoy learning. Though I am very focused on using tutoring time productively, I also find ways of making learning fun and meaningful.

A Little Bit About Me...

It is my firm belief that a strong education is one of the keys to success in life, and that success in learning is a precursor to success in almost any other endeavor. However, we all learn differently and I have found that one-on-one teaching is the best for both the learner and subject matter that may be difficult to grasp. I take a classical approach to schooling and believe that learning takes place in stages. A child must learn the first steps, like building blocks, and then progress to higher learning. Consistency and patience are necessary on both the student’s and teacher’s part, and I can offer both. I believe with consistent, frequent exposure and practice, everyone can learn.
Having a love and appreciation for good education, I received my BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting, and my MBA, both from accredited universities. For a short time ... read more

I love teaching all children. I’m skilled at matching my teaching methods to each child’s abilities and making learning fun. I am available to help your child find academic or musical success. I’m patient and easy going, but make sure children finish their work. I use an incentive system to reward hardworking students and share their successes with their parents. As a music teacher, I instruct children in classical and jazz, music theory, sight reading, ear-training techniques and keyboard skills. I model playing techniques and hold family recitals so children gain performance experience and their parents can share their musical growth with others. I use age appropriate games to teach basic skills so that my students progress more quickly.
I think education is crucial to life’s success. Earning 2 degrees has given me lots of writing/reading experience, and knowledge of music perfo ... read more

I'm very passionate to help kids to be successful in school as well as in life. I've had 6 years of working as Student Aides in all levels of K-12; Math, English, Writing, and Arts, 5 years working as Teacher for Career Colleges: Websters, Phillip Jr., and University of Phoenix; Math, Computer Software Applications, Writing, Professional development, Accounting,Statistic, Student coaching, and Piano.
I'm a big believer of motivation and encouragement. Once the kids are motivated when they feel the bonding, learning success will be achieved in a faster speed. I'd like to talk to the children every day to find out how their days went and their concerns and challenges especially if they feel they're capable of handling of the situation and their ways of doing such.
