I try to present a concept or fact in several different ways so that I can resonate with the students thinking style. I have been told that I am a very good communicator and educator and can make concepts that seem complicated look much simpler and more comprehendible. If you've ever looked at the Khan Academy website, were Sal Khan makes little You Tube videos on all sorts of math and science topics, you will see a very similar method to how I educate .

From 2006 to the present,working at Hematech has given me opportunities to work with undergraduate students during their summer internships. I have taught laboratory techniques, molecular biology, development biology, and basic concepts of biology, but my major focus was encourage the students to apply the theoretical concepts of biology into practical laboratory work.
