As a young woman aspiring to become a veterinarian, I attained both a BS in Biology and an AAS in Veterinary Technology. I enjoyed tutoring fellow students during my college career, as it allowed me to reinforce the material in my own mind and also to earn a little extra income. I am a retired engineer who has been substitute teaching for about 4 years including several long term positions. I have a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a MS in teaching with addition coursework in Electrical Engineering and Math. My tutoring experience started in Adirondack Community College’s math lab where I was helping a wide variety of students get through their math classes.
