I teach according to the student's learning style. I acknowledge that all students learn differently, and I excel at catering to visual, aural, and kinesthetic needs of students. In 2011 to 2012 I worked as a lead tutor for Academic Achievers in Muncie. My core focus was to improve writing skills. I would help students organize their thoughts into a structured document, and on occasion I would help build their vocabulary with five words of the week. Currently, I work at the Muncie Children's Museum where I create programs for children to exercise their motor and critical thinking skills in the visual arts and music.

I have never been a tutor before, but I am in college right now for a degree in Early Childhood Education. I have great math and English skills and would like to put them to use tutoring children. I am patient and great with children. I have worked with children for a very long time. I took courses in high school, where we ran a preschool and were in charge of teaching lessons. I have also helped my mother with her daycare for over a decade. I am very patient and laid back. I don't like to stress anyone out, including myself. I will explain something as many times as it takes for the child to understand.

Classroom management is one big thing about my teaching if you don't have order in your class you not running your class its running you and that not good for teaching students. I have been a reserve teacher for the last five years in the Dayton public School system. I teacher basic education from grade k-12, but my best subject is k-3 and I am getting my certify license in early childhood education at Central State. I just got done with my student teaching and that was very educational for me because it was just about what I was already doing in teaching but it let me know that I was doing what I had learning in school. I also worked with preschooler so I know what they can do at their age level.
