As a holder of a Bachelor's in Social Work, I have a great deal of experience mentoring and tutoring students of various ages and abilities. I have worked with adult learners and high school age students with disabilities. I have a strong background in English and Grammar due to an extensive amount of college level paper writing. I maintained a 3.8 GPA throughout my college years. I am a 60 year old Financial Manager, Creative Writer, Sales Executive with many years of Professional experience in several careers.
I enjoy working with younger generations. I believe stimulating intelligence and creativity in younger people sometimes requires thinking outside the box. Following instructions and completing homework certainly is a priority, as that prepares for adulthood. Going beyond that creates a desire for knowledge, and instigates entrepreneurship at a younger stage by developing desire for leadership and hunger for success. I often tutor my granddaughter and together after completing her school assignment we explore ways to learn more then required.
