I love teaching and interacting with students of all ages and ability levels. I believe that each person is unique and receives information in a unique way. Tutoring should be a joint process of discovering a student's learning style and tailoring information so that the student is able to learn and thrive. In my opinion, teaching should focus on the individual strengths of the learner and not just their challenges. A Little Bit About Me...

As a graduate of a sound Liberal Arts College, I've learned that the greatest asset I took away with me was the art of communication. I have earned a Bachelor of Arts in English with a focus in Creative Writing and Spanish. I have written essays upon essays, from creative short-stories to my fifty-page senior thesis, and would love to continue working in a position which allows me to use my hard-earned tools.
As a recent graduate, I have the unique skill of relating to students on their own level. I love listening to their needs and assessing the situation with great care and concern. There are different learning techniques and all students are different. Once I learn the proper needs of the student, I will be very successful in helping them reach their goals. I enjoy working with younger generations. I believe stimulating intelligence and creativity in younger people sometimes requires thinking outside the box. Following instructions and completing homework certainly is a priority, as that prepares for adulthood. Going beyond that creates a desire for knowledge, and instigates entrepreneurship at a younger stage by developing desire for leadership and hunger for success.
