I prefer to work with motivated students. I enjoy one on one tutoring best, but I can work in a group setting. I think I am best at explaining concepts verbally. Particularly when I tutor math, I like to explain the reasoning and concepts behind what I am teaching, rather than encouraging rote memorization. For SAT and ACT prep, I think it is primarily a matter of explaining the structure of the test and teaching ways to address different questions.
