About Me

Experience Summary

I have over 5000 hours (nearly 10 years) of tutoring experience, including the SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, LSAT and other selected subjects. I have been helping high school and college students get accepted to undergraduate and graduate programs all over the United States, including UF, Michigan, Stanford, FSU, UCF, and many others. My first teaching experience was with the Department of Juvenile Justice when I was fresh out of college. It was, believe it or not, a lot of fun! When I went on to Law School I was fortunate enough to be selected as a Teaching Assistant for Legal Research & Writing and Appellate Advocacy. I also tutored first year law students as a member of the Florida Law Review. Recently, I spent a quarter teaching bankruptcy law to paralegal students in Madison, WI, and had a great time doing so. My students seemed to enjoy it nearly as much as I did. Now that I am back in the Tampa area, I am actively engaged in tutoring subjects ranging from ACT preparation to American History to law.

Teaching Style

I bring a friendly and patient approach to tutoring. I know hiring a tutor can be a challenging process and a tough decision to make. Accordingly, I promise to make the lessons as enjoyable as possible, while ensuring you (or your child) truly understand the material. I owe it to my students to make the material fun and interesting.

My Hobbies

Sports, reading, and being active. As an attorney, I often spent endless hours in the office pouring over documents and drafting motion papers. So now that I have more free time, I make the most of it.
