A Little Bit About Me...

As an older recent graduate I have experienced how hard it can be to get a bachelor degree and raise a family at the same time. To be committed to both made me who I am today. I take great pride in the accomplishments I have succeeded in. I take just as much pride when tutoring children, their success is the most important accomplishment that can be achieved for all involved.
I currently am working as a teacher for summer school. I enjoy walking in the school everyday and working with the students, helping them find academic success while having fun at the same time. A Little Bit About Me...

For the past 30 years, I have worked with special needs students. I believe that students learn at their educational level. The problem with education today, is that students are often in classrooms that stress learning at their frustration level. Many students are in general ed settings, but are forced to use materials that they do not fully understand. In my role as a teacher consultant, I adapted materials so the students could understand it. If chosen as a tutor, I would do the same so the students would learn at their education level.
I am a retired special ed teacher. I worked with Learning Disabled, Emotionally Impaired, Cognitively Impaired, and Austistic students primarily in the high school. A Little Bit About Me...

As mentioned above I enjoy helping others and areas that are beneficial for them. I enjoy the satisfaction that is received from helping others as well. I have taught many class mates, children and family members in any requested area. I have volunteered at my church for at least three years with a variety of many different subjects.
I have always enjoyed teaching as well as learning from other individuals. I have the drive and determination to accomplish things and help others succeed.
