As a parent concerned about the condition of the public school system we decided to homeschool our last two children. I began teaching them in the first grade and have continued up to, and including, the present time. My son is now a high school freshman and my daughter is in the eighth grade. During this time I helped start a homeschool cooperative. We wanted to continue homeschooling our children, but we also wanted to provide them with more choices taught by someone experienced, or having an expertise in an area. My education includes a teaching certificate in education and a B.S. in business with a major in marketing and a minor in management. In addition, I am currently taking courses through Baker College to obtain an M.B.A. where I have maintained a 4.0 G.P.A. throughout the last year. My experience includes tutoring students in reading, writing and elementary education. I also have taught marketing and management workshops for employees.
