While attending college I was apart of many different study groups. In such study groups we would teach each other the information we needed to learn. Through this I interacted with many students teaching many things in many different styles. When I was in upper level courses I would assist the underclassmen with their homework so that they could grasp the information.
The style of teaching that I use is experience. I believe that people learn best when they work through and actually practice the issues. I was asked to apply for an undergraduate teaching assistant position at The University of Montana. The following year, I assisted in the laboratory sections of Anatomy and Physiology, teaching basic biology and advanced anatomy and physiology (A&P). I now serve as an instructor, teaching two sections of A&P. In addition, I have served as a student advisor, guiding incoming freshman and assisting them in schedule structure and course loads. A Little Bit About Me...

As a computer science teaching assistant I was often presenting students with their first experience in a new field, as a result, I have adapted a teaching style which draws upon my background in the sciences to offer real life examples and helpful tidbits to further a students understanding.
