I have had two National Institute of Health fellowships in the past three years at the Medical University of South Carolina and Washington State University. I have also published research articles in the Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, Journal of Natural Products and Tetrahedron letters and two more in the publication process. I do have a PhD in organic chemistry from the University of Iowa in 2005 and a First Class BSc degree in chemistry from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. I have taught chemistry to numerous students from high school in Nigeria to undergraduates at the University of Iowa, USA, for over 7 years. As a recent CofC graduate attaining my Bachelors of Science degree in Biology, I have a vast knowledge of Biology and Chemistry courses. I also attained minors in Chemistry and Psychology. In high school I completed Advanced Placement (AP) courses in Biology, English, and Calculus and placed out of 21 college credit hours. With this experience, I gained knowledge about the arrangment and expectations of these classes and examinations. As a successful learner, I studied education in college. I graduated in four years with a 4.0 grade point average in the Education Department. I student-taught in a first grade classroom at Springfield Elementary School. The following school year, I was hired at Springfield as a Kindergarten teacher. Throughout my college career I have Tutored other students, usually adults, but even some younger students. My tutoring experience is mostly based on college physics, algebra, trigonometry, and calculus. Also, I have a good understanding of higher level mathematics involving differential equations and complex analysis.
