My forte is science and math, which are often students' least favorite subjects, due to earlier difficulty. A solid basic understanding of these subjects is critical to being an independent, engaged adult; and it's just plain cool to understand how the world works! I enjoy removing the fear and guiding the students to increase their competence and self-confidence. I am funny, enthusiastic and know how to use the student's background as a "hook" to pull them into the subject.
I have a BA in Psychology, MS in Zoology and BS in Computer Science. I have lifetime Arizona Community College certification in psychology, biology, ecology and remedial math.
